Artwork of the solar system with planetary orbits

Solar system. Artwork of the solar system, showing the paths (blue lines) of the nine planets as they orbit around the Sun. The four inner planets are (from inner to outer): Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars. Around the inner solar system is a broad belt containing thousands of minor planets (asteroids). The five outer planets are (inner to outer): Jupiter (lower right), Saturn (lower left), Uranus (upper left), Neptune (upper right) and Pluto (far right). The star clouds of our galaxy, the Milky Way, appear as a broad luminous band at upper right

17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This artwork of the solar system beautifully depicts the intricate dance of our planetary neighbors as they orbit around the radiant Sun. The blue lines elegantly trace the paths followed by each of the nine planets, showcasing their celestial journey through space. Starting from within, we encounter Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars - these four inner planets gracefully encircle our life-sustaining home. Beyond them lies a vast belt teeming with thousands of minor planets known as asteroids. As we venture further outwards into the depths of space, Jupiter dominates in the lower right corner with its majestic presence. Saturn captivates us on the lower left side while Uranus and Neptune grace us with their ethereal beauty in opposite corners above. And there, at far right stands Pluto – a reminder that even though it may no longer be officially classified as a planet, its enigmatic allure remains. The grandeur doesn't stop there; an enchanting band of luminosity stretches across upper right representing star clouds belonging to our galaxy -the Milky Way- adding an extra touch of cosmic wonder to this extraordinary composition. This artwork is not just a stunning visual representation but also serves as a testament to humanity's ceaseless fascination with exploring and understanding our place within this vast universe.
