23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print captures the essence of rural life in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire during the early 19th century. The image showcases a serene countryside scene with cows peacefully grazing in the foreground while the town of High Wycombe emerges majestically in the distance. The creator of this remarkable piece remains unknown, but it is believed to be a reproduction of an original watercolour painting by Joseph Mallord William Turner. The composition exudes tranquility and evokes a sense of nostalgia for simpler times. The lush green landscape dotted with trees and plants creates a picturesque backdrop that perfectly complements the rustic charm of this quaint English town. As one gazes at this print, they can almost feel themselves transported back to a bygone era, immersed in the beauty and serenity that characterized rural life centuries ago. The inclusion of a church prominently positioned amidst nature hints at the strong influence of religion on daily life during that time period. It serves as a reminder not only of Christian values but also highlights how integral faith was to community identity. This print is not just an exquisite representation of regionalism; it is also an homage to J. M. W Turner's artistic genius whose work continues to inspire generations even today. Preserved through time, this enchanting depiction allows us to appreciate both historical landscapes and our enduring connection with nature.
