23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this heartwarming portrait captured at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital in Beerwah, Queensland, Australia, mother koala Augustine cradles her two beloved offspring, Gus and Rupert, against a pristine white background. The imperiled marsupials, both native to Australia, embody the delicate balance of biodiversity and the importance of wildlife rescue efforts. Augustine's fur, a blend of soft gray and golden hues, contrasts beautifully with the pure white backdrop, drawing the viewer's focus to the tender moments unfolding before their eyes. The mother koala's expressive eyes convey a deep sense of love and caring as she gazes at her young ones, one her own offspring and the other an adopted joey. Gus and Rupert, both juvenile koalas, snuggle close to their mother, their tiny paws clutching at her fur for support and comfort. The trio's closeness is a testament to the strong bonds that form between mother and offspring in the koala community, as well as the power of care and affection in nurturing young animals. This studio portrait by renowned photographer Joel Sartore not only captures the beauty and cuteness of these furry marsupials but also highlights the importance of wildlife rescue and conservation efforts. The Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital plays a crucial role in the preservation of these imperiled animals, providing essential care and rehabilitation for koalas and other native wildlife. As a tourist destination, this image offers a unique glimpse into the lives of these fascinating creatures and the relationships that form between them. The portrait's horizontal composition, vibrant colors, and eye-catching subject matter make it an ideal addition to any collection, inspiring appreciation for the natural world and the importance of protecting its inhabitants.
