31"x27" (79x69cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 24x20 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 31x27 inches (787x685mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print titled "Ruins of Roman colonial houses, Grosseto" takes us on a journey back in time to the ancient city of Grosseto. Captured by the talented photographer Quilici, Folco in 1971, this image showcases the remnants of Roman colonial houses that once stood proudly in this historic location. The ruins depicted here are a testament to the rich archaeological heritage and cultural significance of Grosseto. As we gaze upon these crumbling structures, we can almost feel the echoes of past lives and imagine what life was like during the height of Roman civilization. The composition is truly remarkable as it provides us with an aerial view or bird's eye perspective. From this vantage point, we get a unique glimpse into not only the ruins themselves but also their surrounding landscape. The photograph captures both farmland countryside and hillsides stretching out towards the horizon. In addition to land-based scenery, our eyes are drawn towards another element - the breathtaking seascape along the coast. This juxtaposition between land and sea adds depth and beauty to an already mesmerizing image. Vegetation plays a significant role in enhancing this composition as well. The presence of bushes scattered throughout further emphasizes nature's ability to reclaim man-made structures over time. It serves as a reminder that even grand civilizations eventually succumb to nature's relentless embrace. Overall, Quilici, Folco has masterfully captured not just architectural remains but also emotions tied to history and human existence through his lens. This print invites viewers to immerse themselves in ancient times while appreciating both natural landscapes and man-made wonders alike.
