A Parasaurolophus dinosaur during the late Cretaceous period

Parasaurolophus is a herbivorous dinosaur belonging to the group known as hadrosaurids. It lived during the late Cretaceous period and was both a biped and quadruped. It is now believed that the crest on its head was used as a sonic weapon, and that a group of these dinosaurs producing sound all at the same time could literally knock a predator off its feet
