Poster Prints are of comparable archival quality to our Photographic prints, they are simply printed on thinner Poster Paper. Whilst we only use Photographic Prints in our frames, you can frame Poster Prints if they are carefully supported to prevent sagging over time.

Poster prints are budget friendly enlarged prints in standard poster paper sizes (A0, A1, A2, A3 etc). Whilst poster paper is sometimes thinner and less durable than our other paper types, they are still ok for framing and should last many years. Our Archival Quality Photo Prints and Fine Art Paper Prints are printed on higher quality paper and the choice of which largely depends on your budget.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this print from Memory Lane Prints, we are transported back to the year 1974, witnessing a momentous occasion at Greenside in Greatham. The image showcases the dedication and blessing of twenty brand new almshouses by none other than the esteemed Bishop of Durham, John Habgood. The significance of this event is further highlighted as Bishop Habgood receives assistance from two other prominent figures - the Rt. Rev A. K Hamilton, Bishop of Jarrow, and Dr J. A Ramsbotham, Assistant Bishop of Newcastle. Notably, Dr Ramsbotham also serves as a trustee for the Hospital of God at Greatham - an institution with roots dating all the way back to 1273. This heartwarming snapshot captures not only a physical structure but also embodies compassion and charity within its frame. The establishment of these almshouses reflects a commitment to providing shelter and support for those in need within the community. As we delve into this photograph's historical context, it becomes evident that religion played an integral role in shaping society during this era. With strong ties to the Church of England, events like these served as reminders that faith-based organizations were actively involved in addressing social issues and lending aid where necessary. Ultimately, this print immortalizes a significant milestone in both architectural development and philanthropy while reminding us that acts of kindness can transcend time itself.
