Plate 5: Rhopocichla atriceps, the Dark-fronted Babbler, is depicted in this stunning watercolor illustration by Margaret Bushby Lascelles Cockburn from her comprehensive work "Neilgherry birds and Miscellaneous," published in 1858. The Dark-fronted Babbler is a passerine bird belonging to the family Timaliidae, order Passeriformes, and class Sauropsida.
