Environmentally and ozone friendly, the Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Plate 5: Rhopocichla atriceps, the Dark-fronted Babbler, is depicted in this stunning watercolor illustration by Margaret Bushby Lascelles Cockburn from her comprehensive work "Neilgherry birds and Miscellaneous," published in 1858. The Dark-fronted Babbler is a passerine bird belonging to the family Timaliidae, order Passeriformes, and class Sauropsida. The bird is shown perched on a branch, displaying its distinctive dark front and long, grey-brown back and wings. The breast of the bird is a rich, chestnut brown. Margaret Bushby Lascelles Cockburn (1829-1928) was a prolific and accomplished natural history artist, whose works were widely admired for their meticulous attention to detail and lifelike accuracy. This illustration, like many of her others, showcases her exceptional skill in capturing the anatomy and character of the bird in its natural habitat.
