More than 60 members of Northallerton Motorcycle Action Group rode through the town at the weekend as part of an appeal to help an animal sanctuary. And afterwards, they praised townspeople for their amazing generosity. The collection by the group raised £ 400 worth of pet food for the Liz Bloomfield animal sanctuary at Lovesome Hill, Northallerton. Every effort is being made to keep the sanctuary going, despite the death of Mrs Bloomfield a month ago. 10th August 1987
