Environmentally and ozone friendly, Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. This illustration showcases a vibrant and intricately detailed representation of the forest's characteristic avian inhabitants. At the heart of the image lies a majestic Malayan hornbill (Bucerotes buceroides), its distinctive, forked beak adorned with bright red and yellow feathers, a striking contrast against the lush green foliage. The hornbill, a proud member of the Bucerotidae family within the order Bucerotiformes, is a large, powerful bird that is well-known for its elaborate courtship displays, which involve the male sealing off a hole in a tree with mud and feeding the female through it while she incubates her eggs.
