Leicestershire County Collection

Leicestershire County Cricket Club is one of the 18 first-class county clubs which make up the English and Welsh domestic cricket structure. The club was founded in 1879 and has been a member of the County Championship since 1890. The club plays most of its home games at Grace Road, Leicester, but also occasionally plays matches at other grounds around Leicestershire such as Loughborough Town Cricket Ground and Oakham School. Leicestershire has won four County Championships (1975, 1996, 1998 and 2004) as well as two Sunday/Pro40 League titles (2004 & 2006). They have also won the Benson & Hedges Cup twice (1996 & 1998). In addition to their first-class matches, they compete in various limited overs competitions including the T20 Blast.
