Stem cell, computer artwork. Known as precusor cells

Stem cell, computer artwork. Known as precusor cells, stem cells undergo differentiation to form the different cell lineages required to produce the bodys specialised tissues. For example, stem cells in bone marrow go through a process called haemopoiesis and develop into either red blood cells or one of several types of white blood cells that make up the immune system. Stem cell research involves trying to use stem cells to repair or replace diseased tissues or organs

31"x27" (79x69cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 24x20 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 31x27 inches (787x685mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print showcases the intricate world of stem cells through a mesmerizing computer artwork. Stem cells, also known as precursor cells, possess the remarkable ability to differentiate and give rise to various cell lineages necessary for the development of specialized tissues in our body. In this image, we witness their potential role in repairing or replacing damaged organs and tissues. The complexity of stem cell research is beautifully depicted here, highlighting its significance in medicine and biology. Stem cells found in bone marrow undergo haemopoiesis, a process where they transform into either red blood cells or different types of white blood cells that form our immune system. While offering immense therapeutic possibilities, stem cell research remains a subject of controversy due to ethical concerns surrounding their use. However, this thought-provoking illustration reminds us that these single primitive entities hold tremendous promise for medical advancements. Created by Science Photo Library with meticulous detail and precision, this artwork captures the essence of cytology and multipotent lineage within stem cells. It serves as a reminder that scientific progress continues to push boundaries towards finding cures and treatments for various diseases without mentioning any commercial applications. In summary, this visually stunning print encapsulates the awe-inspiring nature of stem cell research – an ongoing quest to harness their power for healing purposes while navigating complex ethical considerations.
