23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In the heart of Scottish football history, Michael Mols etches his name with an indelible mark. On this fateful day, April 17,2004, the Dutch striker donning the Rangers FC jersey scored the decisive goal against Partick Thistle, securing the championship title for his team in the Scottish Premier League (SPL). The air at Ibrox Stadium was electric as the clock ticked down, with the scoreline locked at 1-1. The tension was palpable, as both teams fought tooth and nail for the coveted victory. The crowd, a sea of blue and white, roared in anticipation. Mols, a seasoned veteran with a penchant for the dramatic, took center stage. With a deft touch and a swift turn, he maneuvered around the Partick Thistle defense, leaving them in his wake. The goalkeeper, caught off guard, was no match for Mols' precision. The ball soared into the net, igniting a frenzy of celebration among the Rangers faithful. The jubilant scene unfolded before the lens of Lynne Cameron, a renowned Scottish football photographer. Her camera captured the raw emotion of the moment - the elation on Mols' face, the unbridled joy of the players and fans, and the sheer relief of a hard-fought victory. This photograph stands as a testament to the passion and dedication that defines Scottish football. It encapsulates the thrill of the game, the unyielding spirit of competition, and the indomitable will of a team and its fans. Michael Mols' goal may have been the decisive one, but it was the collective effort and unwavering belief that brought Rangers FC the championship title that day. This iconic image is a reminder of that glorious moment in Scottish football history.
