23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This photograph captures an intriguing collection of historical firearms housed in the Museum of the Armeria (Armoury) in Vitoria, Spain. The image showcases a Tower brand rifle, a musket, a carbine, and a gun, each representing different periods in the evolution of firearms technology. The Tower brand rifle, with its sleek design and precision engineering, is a testament to the advancements in rifle technology during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Its smooth contours and intricate details reflect the meticulous craftsmanship that went into producing these weapons. The musket, on the other hand, is a remnant of a bygone era. Its long barrel and heavy stock are characteristic of the muskets used during the 17th and 18th centuries, when firearms were still a relatively new and evolving technology. The carbine, a shorter version of the musket, was a popular choice among cavalry units due to its maneuverability and ease of use in the confined spaces of a horse's saddle. The gun, with its simple design and robust construction, is a reminder of the early days of firearms, when their primary function was to provide a means of defense against wild animals and hostile enemies. The presence of these firearms in the Museum of the Armeria is a testament to Spain's rich history and its role in the development of firearms technology. The technician in the photograph adds an extra layer of intrigue, as he meticulously examines and maintains these precious relics, ensuring that they are preserved for future generations to appreciate and learn from. This photograph is not only a beautiful work of art but also a fascinating glimpse into the past, showcasing the evolution of firearms from their early, rudimentary forms to the sophisticated weapons of today. The Museum of the Armeria in Vitoria, Spain, is a must-visit destination for anyone with an interest in history, technology, or firearms.
