23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
Step into the elegant world of the Trocadero Restaurant, a dining establishment that once held the title of one of Europe's most exclusive restaurants, located on the corner of London's bustling Shaftesbury Avenue and Windmill Street. Circa 1930s, this photograph captures the opulence and grandeur of the interior, a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city outside. The Trocadero, known for its proximity to the famous Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square theatres, was a lavish destination for the city's elite and visitors alike. The restaurant's interior was a feast for the eyes, with walls adorned with intricate murals, marble surfaces, and ornate decorative details. The limited number of tables ensured an intimate dining experience, making each visit a special occasion. The Trocadero's reputation for excellence began in 1896 when it first opened its doors. Over the decades, it continued to attract the rich and famous, including royalty and celebrities. The restaurant's commitment to providing exceptional service and exquisite cuisine made it a must-visit destination for those seeking a memorable dining experience. As you gaze at this photograph, imagine the soft glow of the chandeliers casting a warm light over the tables, the sound of clinking glasses and hushed conversations filling the air, and the delicious aromas wafting from the kitchen. The Trocadero Restaurant was truly a dining experience like no other, and this photograph offers a glimpse into a bygone era of luxury and sophistication.
