23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This evocative photograph captures the solemn atmosphere surrounding the grave of Brigham Young (1801-1877), a pivotal figure in American history as a religious leader and pioneer settler. Young is best known for his role as the second President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, also known as the Mormons, from 1847 until his death in 1877. He led thousands of followers from Illinois to Utah, founding Salt Lake City and serving as the first governor of the Utah Territory. The image, taken circa 1910, shows the simple yet dignified tomb, framed by railings and surrounded by lush greenery. The inscription on the tombstone reads, "Brigham Young, Born July 1, 1801. Died August 29, 1877." The grave is a testament to Young's enduring legacy as a visionary leader who helped shape the religious and cultural landscape of the United States. Young's influence extended beyond Utah, as he played a significant role in shaping the political and social fabric of the Mormon community in America. His leadership and pioneering spirit continue to inspire generations of Mormons and non-Mormons alike, making his grave a must-visit destination for those interested in American history and religious heritage. The photograph also serves as a poignant reminder of the rich history of Salt Lake City and the important role it played in the settlement of the American West. The peaceful scene, with the grave nestled among the trees, offers a moment of reflection and contemplation for all who visit.
