17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

Venetian Masquerade,
EDITORS COMMENTS
an enchanting art deco sketch by the Italian illustrator Guiseppe Peres, dates back to 1923. This illustration transports us back to the jazz-infused era of the Roaring Twenties, a time of unbridled excitement and innovation. The image, published in a popular world magazine, invites us to the grandest of ballrooms, where the air is thick with anticipation and the promise of an unforgettable night. Peres masterfully captures the essence of the age, with its fusion of modernity and the allure of the past. The Venetian Masquerade setting adds an air of mystery and intrigue, as dancers, dressed in the height of 1920s fashion, don elaborate masks, concealing their identities, and surrendering to the rhythm of the music. The vibrant colors and geometric shapes characteristic of the art deco style come alive in this sketch, creating a visual symphony that resonates with the energy and spirit of the era. The image is a testament to the enduring allure of the 1920s, a time when the world seemed to be dancing to its own beat. As the jazz bands played on, and the dancers twirled and swayed, the Venetian Masquerade served as a symbol of the freedom and excitement that defined the age. This stunning art deco sketch by Guiseppe Peres is not only a beautiful work of art but also a window into a bygone era, inviting us to revisit the magic and wonder of the 1920s.
