23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this photo print, we are transported back in time to witness the artistic brilliance of Vittore Carpaccio, an esteemed Italian painter from the late 15th and early 16th centuries. The image showcases his masterpiece titled "The Virgin Reading" created around 1505. Carpaccio's attention to detail is evident as he skillfully captures a serene moment between the Virgin Mary and her divine book. The painting depicts Mary engrossed in deep contemplation as she reads sacred scriptures, her face illuminated by a soft glow that emanates from within. Her gentle expression exudes wisdom and tranquility, inviting viewers to join her in quiet reflection. This oil on panel transferred to canvas artwork exemplifies Carpaccio's mastery of color and composition. Vibrant hues blend harmoniously with delicate brushstrokes, creating a visual feast for the eyes. Every intricate detail, from the folds of Mary's flowing robes to the texture of the pages she holds so delicately, reveals Carpaccio's dedication to capturing realism. "The Virgin Reading" serves as a testament not only to Carpaccio's technical prowess but also his ability to convey profound spiritual themes through art. It invites us into a world where faith intertwines with beauty and encourages us to seek solace in moments of introspection just like Mary herself. As we gaze upon this remarkable print from Liszt Collection, we cannot help but be captivated by its timeless appeal - an enduring tribute to one artist's vision
