17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print captures the essence of Stan Tracey, a legendary jazz musician, during his performance at the Gateshead International Jazz Festival in 2010. The artist behind this remarkable shot is Alan John Ainsworth. In the image, we see Stan Tracey leaning on his elbow against a piano, with his hands clasped together and wearing spectacles that add an air of wisdom to his appearance. His posture exudes confidence and relaxation as he immerses himself in the music he creates. With his caucasian features and distinguished look, Tracey represents a symbol of British musical heritage. The photograph was taken at night, under a spotlight that beautifully illuminates both Tracey and his surroundings. The buildings in the background provide a sense of location - Gateshead in Tyne and Wear, England - while also hinting at the rich history embedded within these walls. Tracey's passion for jazz is evident through every note played on his beloved piano. As one of Britain's most celebrated pianists from the 21st century, he leaves an indelible mark on the world of music. This portrait by Ainsworth perfectly encapsulates not only Stan Tracey's talent but also pays homage to the vibrant atmosphere created by festivals like Gateshead International Jazz Festival held at Sage Gateshead Music Centre. It serves as a timeless reminder of an extraordinary moment where artistry meets melody in harmony.
