17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print showcases the iconic figures of Henry VIII, Elizabeth I, and Edward VI in a stunning family portrait from 1597. Created by an unknown artist, this masterpiece captures the essence of British royalty during the 16th century. The image transports us back to a time when power and influence were embodied by these three monarchs. King Henry VIII, known for his larger-than-life persona and tumultuous reign, stands at the center with an air of authority. His regal attire reflects his status as one of England's most formidable rulers. To his right stands Queen Elizabeth I, often referred to as "Queen Bess". Her poise and elegance shine through her elaborate dress adorned with intricate details that epitomize fashion trends of the era. As one of history's most influential female leaders, she exudes strength and intelligence. On Henry's left is young Edward VI, who would tragically become king at just nine years old after his father's death. Despite his tender age in this portrait, he already displays hints of maturity beyond his years. This remarkable piece not only serves as a testament to Tudor heritage but also offers insight into the political landscape and artistic sensibilities of its time. The oil on panel technique used by the anonymous artist adds depth and richness to every brushstroke. Displayed proudly in art galleries such as the Art Institute Chicago, this painting continues to captivate viewers with its historical significance and timeless beauty.
