23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This photograph print showcases a portrait of King Henry VII of England, hailing from an unknown Flemish painting housed in the National Portrait Gallery. The image, published in "The Portrait Book of Our Kings and Queens 1066-1911," offers a glimpse into the rich history of the British monarchy during the late 15th and early 16th centuries. Henry VII, also known as Henry Tudor, is depicted wearing the regal attire of the era, complete with a voluminous, fur-lined robe, a tall, conical hat adorned with a white feather, and a collar adorned with intricate jewels. The background of the portrait is simple, with a lush, green landscape and an array of roses and other flowers, symbolizing the House of Tudor and the Tudor rose. The portrait, which dates back to the early 20th century, is a testament to the enduring allure of historical art and the importance of preserving the legacy of our monarchs. The image, published by T.C. & E.C. Jack and edited by T. Leman Hare, serves as a reminder of the grandeur and majesty of the British monarchy and the rich cultural heritage it represents. The photograph print also highlights the intricacies of fashion during the late 15th and early 16th centuries, with Henry VII's apparel reflecting the opulence and grandeur of the time. The use of vibrant colors and the attention to detail in the portrait make it a fascinating piece of historical art that continues to captivate and inspire.
