17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This exquisite watercolor painting, titled "Country house and garden," is a masterpiece by the renowned Dutch artist Jozef Israels, created between 1834 and 1911. The artwork beautifully captures the essence of the Dutch countryside during the 19th and early 20th centuries. The quaint country house, nestled among the lush greenery, exudes a sense of tranquility and charm. The garden, adorned with vibrant flowers and towering trees, adds to the idyllic scene. Israels, a prominent figure in Dutch art, is known for his depictions of rural life and scenes from the Netherlands. This watercolor is a prime example of his regionalism, showcasing the beauty and simplicity of the Dutch countryside. The use of color and pencil on paper adds to the authenticity and detail of the artwork. The country house, with its red-tiled roof and whitewashed walls, stands proudly against the backdrop of the garden. The fence, with its intricate design, adds a touch of elegance to the rustic scene. The trees, with their full branches and leaves, provide a natural frame for the house and garden. The water in the foreground adds a sense of calm and reflection. This artwork is a testament to the rich cultural heritage of the Netherlands and the beauty of rural life during the 19th and early 20th centuries. It is a must-see for anyone interested in Dutch art, history, or the natural world. This painting is currently on exhibit at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, one of the world's greatest art museums, and is a popular attraction for visitors from around the globe.
