FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

Painted by the talented artist John Trumbull around 1797, this oil on canvas masterpiece showcases a dramatic scene from the American Revolution. In this portrait, Lieutenant Grosvenor stands tall with his musket in hand, showcasing his unwavering determination as he fights for freedom. His piercing gaze reflects both bravery and leadership amidst chaos. By his side stands Asaba, an African American servant who shares in the struggle for liberty. The composition skillfully contrasts their different backgrounds - Grosvenor being caucasian and Asaba black - highlighting how people from diverse walks of life united to fight for a common cause. The painting also depicts other minutemen engaged in battle against British forces in Charlestown near Boston. Trumbull's attention to detail brings forth an atmosphere charged with tension and heroism that defined this pivotal moment in history.
