17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

Children's Imagination Takes Shape - A Vibrant Sand Castle Adventure

EDITORS COMMENTS
. In this color lithograph, we are transported to the early 20th century, where a group of children joyfully engage in the timeless activity of building sand castles. The image captures the essence of childhood innocence and summer bliss as these young adventurers immerse themselves in creating their own miniature kingdom on the beach. The scene is filled with vibrant colors that reflect the carefree spirit of youth. The bright blue sky serves as a perfect backdrop for their imaginative construction project. With buckets and spades in hand, these little architects meticulously shape towers and walls out of golden sand, each child contributing their unique touch to this sandy masterpiece. A sense of pride radiates from their faces as they admire their creation taking form before them. A small flag proudly flutters atop one tower, adding an extra touch of whimsy to this enchanting scene. This illustration was originally featured in "Off We Go" a cherished publication from c1920 that captured the adventures and dreams of children during that era. It reminds us all of simpler times when leisurely activities like building sand castles were treasured moments shared with friends or siblings. As we gaze upon this delightful print by Bridgeman Images, we are reminded once again that childhood memories are built not only on grand experiences but also on simple pleasures found within our reach – such as feeling the warm grains between our fingers while constructing magical worlds at the seaside.
