23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this portrait, a young male Impala, Aepyceros melampus, gazes directly at the camera with a curious and alert expression. The photograph was taken in the breathtaking Lake Nakuru National Park in Kenya, Africa, a renowned wildlife reserve known for its diverse and abundant wildlife. The Impala, a graceful and agile antelope species, is a common sight in the park's savannas and woodlands. This young male, with his distinctive black markings on his face and body, stands out against the golden grasses that surround him. The selective focus of the image draws the viewer's attention to the Impala's expressive face and piercing gaze. The Impala is a herbivorous animal, feeding on a variety of vegetation, including leaves, shoots, and fruits. They are known to be active during the day, making them an ideal subject for wildlife photographers and visitors to the park. Lake Nakuru National Park, located in the Rift Valley region of Kenya, is a popular destination for tourists and wildlife enthusiasts. The park is home to a large population of wildlife, including rhinos, leopards, lions, and over 450 species of birds. Hells Gate National Park, another nearby park, is famous for its hot springs, geysers, and dramatic cliffs. This photograph captures the raw beauty and wildness of the African savanna, with the Impala embodying the spirit of the wilderness that surrounds it. The image invites the viewer to explore the wonders of nature and the diverse wildlife that can be found in Africa's national parks.
