17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this photograph, taken on the chilly winter evening of December 26,2005, at The Valley in Charlton, England, the intensity of the FA Premiership match between Charlton Athletic and Arsenal is palpable. The image captures a pivotal moment in the game as Alexandre Hleb of Arsenal skillfully maneuvers around Charlton's Jonathan Fortune, leaving the defender in his wake. The Arsenal midfielder, with his agile footwork and unyielding determination, had been a standout player for the Gunners that season. Hleb's ability to control the midfield and create scoring opportunities for his teammates had been instrumental in Arsenal's success. Meanwhile, Fortune, a stalwart defender for Charlton, was known for his tenacity and strength. In this moment, however, he was unable to keep up with Hleb's quick footwork and agility. The look of determination on Hleb's face, combined with Fortune's expression of frustration, encapsulates the high stakes and competitive nature of professional soccer. The photograph is a testament to the skill, athleticism, and determination displayed by both teams on the pitch that night. Arsenal ultimately emerged victorious with a 1-0 win, thanks in large part to Hleb's standout performance. This image serves as a reminder of the thrilling moments and intense competition that make the beautiful game so captivating. The photograph was taken by Stuart MacFarlane, a renowned sports photographer, for Arsenal Football Club. It is a valuable addition to the club's archives, preserving the memories of a pivotal moment in Arsenal's history.
