23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
Beneath the Crystalline Canopy: A Winter's Embrace in the Swedish Forest Amidst the tranquil stillness of a Swedish winter, the forest dons its most enchanting attire. In this landscape by Allan Wallberg, titled "Winter," the forest is transformed into a magical realm of ice and snow. The trees, draped in hoarfrost, stand proud against the backdrop of a brilliant blue sky, their branches reaching out like gnarled fingers, etched with intricate patterns of frost. The forest floor is blanketed in a pristine layer of snow, shimmering under the sun's gentle rays. The scene exudes an ethereal beauty, as the sun casts a golden glow over the winter wonderland. The air is crisp and cold, carrying the faint scent of pine and woodsmoke. The silence is broken only by the soft crunch of snow underfoot, as one ventures deeper into the forest. The seasonal transformation is a testament to nature's enduring cycle, a reminder of the passing of time and the ever-changing tapestry of the world around us. Wallberg's masterful composition invites us to pause and appreciate the simple, yet profound, beauty of a winter's day in the Swedish woods. The interplay of light and shadow, the delicate balance of color and texture, and the sense of stillness and serenity all combine to create an image that transports us to a place of peace and wonder. This photograph is a celebration of the season, a tribute to the transformative power of nature, and a reminder of the beauty that lies hidden in the most unexpected places.
