Standard electrical circuit symbols

Standard electrical circuit symbols. Diagram of standard symbols used to represent electrical equipment in electrical circuit diagrams. The symbols are arranged in six rows of sets of three. From top, these rows show symbols for: conductors, power supplies, resistors, capacitors, diodes and transistors. These symbols have varied over time and from country to country, and so various national and international standards have been devised to ensure consistent use of standard symbols that can be recognised worldwide. These symbols conform to British Standard 3939 (BS 3939)

A2 (59.4 x 42cm) Poster Print

Introducing the Media Storehouse Collection of Standard Electrical Circuit Symbols Poster Prints. This captivating scientific artwork showcases the essential symbols used to represent various electrical components in electrical circuit diagrams. Arranged in six meticulously organized sets of three, these symbols serve as a visual language for engineers, electricians, and students of electronics. Our high-quality poster prints are perfect for enhancing your workshop, classroom, or office space, making complex electrical concepts more accessible and understandable. Bring the intricacies of electrical engineering to life with these visually striking and informative posters.

A2 Poster (59.4 x 42cm, 23.4" x 16.5" inches) printed on 170gsm Satin Poster Paper. Securely packaged, rolled and inserted into a strong mailing tube and shipped tracked. Poster Prints are of comparable archival quality to our Photographic prints, they are simply printed on thinner Poster Paper. Whilst we only use Photographic Prints in our frames, you can frame Poster Prints if they are carefully supported to prevent sagging over time.

Poster prints are budget friendly enlarged prints in standard poster paper sizes (A0, A1, A2, A3 etc). Whilst poster paper is sometimes thinner and less durable than our other paper types, they are still ok for framing and should last many years. Our Archival Quality Photo Prints and Fine Art Paper Prints are printed on higher quality paper and the choice of which largely depends on your budget.

Estimated Image Size (if not cropped) is 39.6cm x 59.4cm (15.6" x 23.4")

Estimated Product Size is 42cm x 59.4cm (16.5" x 23.4")

These are individually made so all sizes are approximate

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print showcases the standard electrical circuit symbols used to represent various electrical equipment in circuit diagrams. Arranged in six rows of sets of three, these symbols cover a wide range of components essential for understanding and designing electrical circuits. From top to bottom, the rows depict symbols for conductors, power supplies, resistors, capacitors, diodes, and transistors. Over time and across different countries, these symbols have evolved and varied. To ensure consistent usage worldwide, national and international standards like British Standard 3939 (BS 3939) have been developed. The significance of these standardized symbols lies in their ability to convey complex information about electric devices with ease. They serve as a universal language for engineers and technicians working on electronic projects or troubleshooting existing systems. In this image captured by Science Photo Library (not affiliated with any company), we witness the culmination of years of technological advancements condensed into eighteen distinct symbols. From simple conductors to intricate transistors, each symbol represents an integral part of modern-day electronics. Whether you are an aspiring engineer or simply fascinated by technology's inner workings, this print is sure to ignite your curiosity about the world behind our everyday gadgets.
