Born in Windsor on April 14, 1867, Christian Victor was known as Christle within the family. He went on to attend prep school, Wellington College, Oxford, and Sandhurst before joining the army.
Tragically, Christian Victor died of enteric fever while on active service during the Boer War. Despite his untimely passing, this image immortalizes a time when he was still young and full of promise.
