Poster Prints are of comparable archival quality to our Photographic prints, they are simply printed on thinner Poster Paper. Poster prints are budget friendly enlarged prints in standard poster paper sizes (A0, A1, A2, A3 etc). Whilst poster paper is sometimes thinner and less durable than our other paper types, they are still ok for framing and should last many years. Our Archival Quality Photo Prints and Fine Art Paper Prints are printed on higher quality paper and the choice of which largely depends on your budget.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This evocative photograph captures a pivotal moment in Albanian history, as Prenk Bib-Doda, the newly appointed Foreign Minister of Albania by Prince William of Wied, stands amongst the Mirditi people of northern Albania in May 1914. The Mirditi were a fierce and independent tribe, known for their strong loyalty to their leaders and their resistance against insurgents. Prince William, an Austrian prince, had been invited by the Albanian League to help establish a central government in Albania, and the Mirditi people were among his most ardent supporters. Bib-Doda, a respected and influential figure in the region, is seen here wearing traditional Albanian clothing and holding a cane, as he addresses the crowd with confidence and authority. Surrounded by the Mirditi people, many of whom are armed and dressed in their tribal attire, the scene exudes a sense of solidarity and determination. The photograph offers a glimpse into a time of political upheaval and cultural pride, as Albania struggled to assert its independence and identity in the face of foreign intervention and internal strife. The image is a poignant reminder of the complex and often tumultuous history of Albania, and the crucial role that local leaders and communities played in shaping its destiny. It also highlights the enduring spirit of the Mirditi people, who continue to preserve their unique traditions and heritage to this day.
