Great moment in Everton Football Club history captured in this photograph as David Moyes leads his team out at Goodison Park for the FA Premier League match against Wigan Athletic on November 8, 2007. At the time, Moyes was in his eighth season as Everton manager, having taken over in 2002. Under his guidance, the Toffees had become a consistent force in the top flight, defying their modest resources to compete with the bigger clubs. In this game, Everton were looking to build on an impressive start to the season, having won five of their opening nine matches.
