Story is : Mr Edgar F Lyne and family, late of The Queens Head, Marsham Street, Westminster, London, owe their lives to Tinker the dog.
A fire broke out during the night, and at the peril of his own life the dog rushed upstairs and managed to awaken his master, thus enabling the household to leave the house safely. Tinker was bought out of the burning building unconscious by a fireman.
