Taken at Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, on October 10th, 1902, this historic image showcases the third test glider being launched into the skies. At the controls is Wilbur Wright himself, while his brother Orville stands to his left and Dan Tate, a local resident and friend of the Wright brothers, stands to his right.
