The Faun by Edward Knoblauch

The Faun by Edward Knoblauch. First produced at the Prince of Wales Theatre, London on 10th June 1913. A piece of whimsy in which a faun enters a London drawing room to prevent a man from taking his own life. This was possibly a shrewd move from the producers, as Nijinsky had recently (and famously) danced LApres Midi DUn Faune. The production toured to the Princes Theatre, Bristol opening on 10th November 1913. Starring John Martin Harvey as Prince Silvani (The Faun). Date: 1913
