This vintage photograph captures a pivotal moment in Brighton & Hove Albion's football history during the 2011-12 season. The image, taken on November 29,2011, depicts the Albion team in their away kit as they faced Derby County at Pride Park Stadium. At the time, Brighton & Hove Albion were making their way up the Championship league table, determined to return to the Premier League after a 30-year absence. The team, managed by Gus Poyet, had shown great form in the early part of the season, but the challenge of playing against promotion rivals Derby County was not to be underestimated. The atmosphere in the stadium was electric, with both sets of fans creating a cacophony of noise that echoed around Pride Park.
