The English Mediaeval Court, at the Crystal Palace, Sydenham, [South London], 1854....the central monument is the splendid altar-tomb and recumbent effigies of Edward the Black Prince. To the left is the tomb of Humphrey De Bohun. The doorway is from Lincoln Cathedral. The upper niche and figure in the angle are from Wells Cathedral; and beneath it is a bracket from Ely Cathedral. The upper spandrels are from the choir of Lincoln Cathedral. The lower figure and niche in the angle are from Westminster Abbey; between which and the doorway is a niche from St. Mary's, Beverley; and next the tomb of Humphrey de Bohun is a niche from Southwell Minster.
