Nicholas II, the last Emperor of Russia, ruled during a tumultuous period in history. His reign was marked by significant events and influential figures such as Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin, whose influence on the royal family would have far-reaching consequences. As tensions grew within Russia leading up to World War I, Tsar Nicholas II found himself facing increasing opposition resulting in exile to Tobolsk, Siberia in August 1917.
