Launceston Young Farmers Club created a Spanish hacienda on their float for the first St Austell Torchlight Carnival. Organised by the St Austell White Gold Festival committee, they are hoping that the carnival will become an annual event. The 4 mile route took the procession from the town centre to the Cornwall Coliseum where there was a charity firework display. Photographer: Jonathan Barker.
