EDITORS COMMENTS
This print takes us back to the vibrant streets of Hawkhill, Dundee in 1958. As we gaze upon this aerial view, our eyes are immediately drawn to the bustling mill and its towering chimney that dominate the landscape. The textile industry was at its peak during this time, and the sight of smoke billowing from the chimney serves as a reminder of the city's industrial prowess. Nestled amidst rows of tenement houses, Hawkhill Street stretches out before us like a lifeline connecting communities.
