Framed Prints From National Railway Museum

Framed Print of Northumberland, NER poster, c 1920s

The Royal Border Bridge at Berwick Upon Tweed is one of the iconic structures on the route of the Flying Scotsman. Designed by Robert Stephenson, Queen Victoria opened it in 1850, and it still caries the East Coast Main Line over the river Tweed. This poster was produced for the North Eastern Railway (NER), promoting rail travel to Northumberland, the northernmost county of England. National Railway Museum is the home of iconic locomotives. Our historic prints reflect the age and quality of the original artwork we hold to preserve their artistic character, including authentic colour reproduction, marks and creases. © Please read our licence terms.
