Framed Print of Sawing and hammering away like veterans, a cluster of ATS girls

Sawing and hammering away like veterans, a cluster of ATS girls, all brides or brides to be, are making the furniture for their new homes. Their workshop is a narrow, brick walled room that was once the storehouse of a police station. Their material is wood salvaged from wrecked homes and the better bits from their fuel stock. Lieutenant Archard, who was seventeen years a teacher of handicrafts before he joined the Army, started the class about six weeks ago.
