Graffiti Clean Up and Removal. Glasgow, 1977, Sergeant Ian Richardson yesterday let his bucket and mop brigade on Operation Clean Up, The target: Graffiti and gang slogans covering the walls of houses in Ballantay Terrace in Glasgow Castlemilk scheme. Fifty local kids volunteered to join the squad and using steel wool and buckets of water, soon rubbed out the slogans.
And one 15 years old, who admitted having sprayed a few slogans on walls said I realise I was wrong and I intend to make amends'. The clean up campaign was a triumph for the local residents, the police and the local councillors, Picture taken 29th August 1977. © Mirrorpix

Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame.
