The Lawn, a central part of Thomas Jefferson's Academical Village, is adorned with pavilions that house student rooms and classrooms. The Rotunda, located at the north end of the site, serves as the focal point of the Lawn, its grand dome and portico inspiring awe and admiration. The intricately detailed insets on either side of the print offer a glimpse into the rich history of the University and the United States.
