The Queen is wearing a yellow tulle evening gown decorated with sprays of mimosa and gold pailette embroidery and is wearing the blue Ribbon and Star of the Garter. Her necklace was a wedding present from the Nizam of Hyderabad; the tiara also a wedding present from Queen Mary. The bow brooch and drop earrings are set with diamonds. The Duke is wearing the uniform of the Admiral of the Fleet. Date: 1954. Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame.
