Rawlings between 1945 and 1965, the image showcases a vibrant maritime scene with a diverse range of ships and boats moored along the dockside. In the foreground, traditional barges are anchored, their rustic wooden hulls reflecting the industrial charm of the era. Beyond, larger vessels, their masts and rigging silhouetted against the sky, are docked, awaiting their turn to be unloaded. The cranes and other machinery that once formed the backbone of London's commercial maritime industry can be seen in the background, a testament to the area's rich history.
