This black-and-white engraving transports us back in time to Flanders during the 16th century when art flourished under Flemish Renaissance influences. It serves as an allegory for human sensory experiences that enrich our lives daily. Adriaen Collaert's "The Five Senses" invites us to contemplate how these senses shape our perceptions of the world around us.
