Adela Azcuy Labrador (Vinales, 18 March 1861 - Havana, 14 March 1914) was a Cuban patriot who participated in the war of independence of their country. A restless personality, practised from a young age the handling of weapons and also cultivated her intellect, coming to write poems. In the year 1896 he joined the militia Lieutenant Colonel Miguel Lores in Gramales where, despite reluctance by their status as women, managed to become part of the health military.
