Nicola Burgin, James Shepard, Mark Traynor and Oliver Briggs were among those sponsored to tackle an obstacle course to raise money for Cowms playgroup. Some 24 youngsters and supervisors went round 15 obstacles and collected about 60 to help buy a new fire for the groups meeting hall at Cowms Methodist Chapel in Lascelles Hall Road.12th February 1987

Nicola Burgin, James Shepard, Mark Traynor, and Oliver Briggs proudly display their accomplishment after completing a challenging obstacle course. These brave youngsters were sponsored to take on the course in order to raise funds for Cowms playgroup. In this heartwarming print from February 12th, 1987, we witness the spirit of charity and childhood friendship. A group of 24 children and supervisors embarked on an exciting adventure through 15 obstacles, determined to make a difference. Their efforts paid off as they collected approximately £60 towards purchasing a new fire for the meeting hall at Cowms Methodist Chapel on Lascelles Hall Road.
