Dating back to the 13th century, this iconic crown features 444 precious stones, making it a symbol of imperial majesty and the official coronation crown. Adjacent to it is the Imperial State Crown, which represents the sovereignty of the monarch. Although several versions have existed since the 15th century, this particular crown, shorter than St. Edwards and encrusted with jewels, precious gems, diamonds, pearls, sapphires, emeralds, and rubies, was worn by Queen Mary, the consort of King George V of England, during her coronation in 1935.
