This historical print captures the pivotal moment when General Charles Carmichael Monro was sent as a replacement to Sir Ian Hamilton in the Dardanelles campaign of October 1915. After a series of disastrous events, including heavy casualties and failed military strategies, Hamilton was recalled to England.
